Today we went to the Markham Museum to see the Land|Slide Possible Futures public art exhibition. It is a cool exhibit where the past, present and future collide through art. The landscape of Markham will be transformed by the work of over 30 national and international artists to explore themes of diversity and community.
We saw digital art, 3D projected art and regular decorations in a haunted house. The artists show new histories and new futures for the use of land in Markham.
Land|Slide brings artists, urban planners, ecologists, educators, civic leaders and the general public together in a unique community engagement initiative to show respect to past and imagines possible futures for art.
This trip was really cool and I love the exhibit. BE SURE TO CHECK IT OUT.
