This biography is about a singer named Taylor Swift. She was born on December 13th on a Christmas tree farm in Wyomissing, Pennsylvania. She has a younger brother named Austin who is 2 years younger than her. Her great parents are very supportive of her career as a singer. She even has a cat named Meredith. Taylor Swift started writing songs and getting interested in music at a young age. She is a truly talented woman. When she was nine, Taylor Swift won a national poetry contest with a three page poem called “Monster In My Closet”. At ten, Taylor Swift began writing songs and singing at karaoke contests, festivals, and fairs around her hometown. During one summer, she wrote a 350 page (unpublished) novel. Taylor Swift first learned to play guitar from a computer repairman who showed her how to play three chords. After learning those three chords, she wrote her first song, “Lucky You”. She began writing songs regularly and used it to help her pain from not fitting in at school. She lives differently from others. She likes to imagine what life was like hundreds of years ago. Her favorite thing in life is writing about life, specifically the parts of life concerning love because she believes that love is basically everything. She’s easily excited, thrilled, scared, and shocked. She never stops jumping up and down when something wonderful happens and her biggest fear is getting bad news or letting someone down. She loves her friends and is always making new ones. She think that you can ever stop making new friends or learning about as many new things as possible. Music has taken her all over the world, but the fans are the reason it’s been so magical, she says. She loves her fans and is blown away by how nice they are to me. She says it’s strange to feel so understood by such a large group of people, but she loves it. In her mind, when you experience love that’s fast paced and out of control it mixes infatuation, jealousy, frustration, miscommunication, and all of those lovely emotions… literally, it all looks red.
Taylor Swift is a seven-time GRAMMY winner, and is the youngest winner in history of the music industry’s highest honor, the Grammy Award for Album of the Year.
