Quotes for Thoughts Sundays is a new series post from the writer of Adshayah’s Blog. Each week, I’ll pick a quote and explain the meaning of it in my words. I hope you enjoy reading our definition. In the end, we’ll have a whole collection to look through.

“Every child is an artist. The problem is how to remain an artist once he grows up.”

                                                                                                                         -Pablo Picasso

Being creative is one of the most important parts to keeping in touch with your soul. Whether it is decorating our bedrooms, writing stories, or even putting together a good meal, we are all creative in some ways. As we get older, we lose the connection to our child-like self. As children, we don’t have much to worry about and can spend most of our time playing, engaging in the world of fantasy. Though as we grow up, there’s much more things to think about other than how perfect your sand castle looks. Through all those worries, we almost forget what joy is, and how simple it is to just sit back and relax. Artists are often compared to children as the have the ability to lose themselves in the moment while creating unrealistic worlds. Sit back and chillax for a while and experience what it was like to be a child.
