Quotes for Thoughts Sundays is a new series post from the writer of Adshayah’s Blog. Each week, I’ll pick a quote and explain the meaning of it in my words. I hope you enjoy reading our definition. In the end, we’ll have a whole collection to look through.
“I have not failed. I’ve just found 10,000 ways that won’t work.”
– Thomas A. Edison
If a person doesn’t give up, just because it didn’t work the first time, doesn’t mean they won’t come up with another way that it will work. Don’t quit and never give up. You shouldn’t quit, because you didn’t get it the first couple of times. Many people say failure is the mother of success and people tend to look at failure as a bad thing. We must be able to learn from our mistakes and grow from it. Thomas A. Edison believed that even though he tried something countless times and didn’t get the right result, it didn’t mean that he failed. He never gave up and always tried one way after the other. The most certain way to succeed is always to try just one more time.
